A crowd of over 350 attended the standing room only award ceremony to recognize the winners of the Rube Goldberg Challenge. Family, friends, teachers, and school administrators came to support the winners. In addition to the awards ceremony, this year the Library hosted a Rube Goldberg Science Fair, where all teams displayed science boards detailing how they made their machines while a video loop of all the teams machines in action played on flat screen displays throughout the library branch. Hundreds of library visitors had the opportunity to view the displays and videos during the evening.
